Active inference-based modeling of human driver collision avoidance behavior
Overview
This poster combines looming perception and evidence accumulation with active inference for a driver reference model used in AV evaluation. It presents rear-end and oncoming scenarios and explicitly notes overly capable collision avoidance even with delayed responses as a limitation.
