Overview
CSL proposes bounded component integration and system-wide assurance strategies for AI/ML in plant safety instrumented systems. Drawing on ISO/PAS 8800, the paper discusses requirements–data traceability, architectural isolation, model-appropriate verification and validation, and operational monitoring.
